Strategic Asset Management Leadership Opportunity

As a pivotal leader, this role offers an exceptional chance to excel in asset management. Based in Brisbane, Mackay, or Rockhampton, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving safety performance across operational sites.

This permanent, full-time opportunity involves ensuring alignment between customer support agreements and internal functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing customer support agreements to ensure seamless delivery of contract obligations.
  • Driving equipment performance and reliability through leveraging Caterpillar technology and Hastings Deering processes.
  • Championing safety by overseeing the 5-Star Safety Process and ensuring compliance with relevant systems.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and positioning Hastings Deering as a market leader in equipment management.
  • Overseeing personnel resourcing, governance processes, and financial performance to deliver best-practice outcomes.
  • Providing accurate reporting and embedding continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years' experience in management within the mining, heavy earthmoving, or mining services industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A proven record of achievement in operations, including significant profit-and-loss responsibility across multiple regions.
  • Strong capability in establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Broad experience across operations, sales, and commercial functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mining, heavy earthmoving, or mining services industries.
