Senior Development Advisory Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Advisory Officer to join our team at Randwick City Council. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality strategic and statutory planning advice to customers, reviewing and advising on pre-development applications, and assessing development-related applications to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and planning provisions.

Requirements
- Tertiary qualification/s in planning, architecture, or urban design, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of extensive planning experience, preferably in development assessment and/or duty planning in local government
- Good knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and other relevant environmental and planning legislation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships
- Awareness of and commitment to the principles of quality customer services and experience
- Current and valid Class C Australian Drivers Licence
