About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Security Operations Coordinator within our Western Australia (WA) FIFO operations. This pivotal role requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and demonstrates high adaptability while maintaining structure.
Key Responsibilities- Remote supervision of team across multiple locations
- Provide escalation point to team during incident response on site
- Efficiently schedule and roster both permanent and ad hoc/casual workforce
- Manage and maintain rosters, including identifying recruitment needs and providing leave coverage
- Ensure compliance with site requirements and qualifications
- Manage and allocate ad hoc work, ensuring accurate data entry to minimize payroll errors
- Manage associated systems and tools to ensure accurate and efficient rostering
- Ensure correct employee payments (Payroll function)
- Provide first point of contact and support for employee and customer inquiries
- Lead ongoing projects related to workforce planning and optimization
- Manage and reduce dropped hours/ shifts
- Coordinate travel requirements for FIFO sites
- Track and report on Overtime, Dropped Shifts and general staffing trends
- A positive people person able to build professional relationships with staff quickly
- Proven experience in high-paced rostering and scheduling environments
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- High adaptability while maintaining structure and organization
- Strong coordination skills with experience in managing projects and teams
- Thorough understanding of the Security Services Industry Award 2020
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume data in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in large-volume people rostering
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in rostering systems
- Exceptional accuracy in data entry
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills
