Quality Control Inspector Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Karratha. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of SMP works and construction processes meet project specifications and industry standards.


Responsibilities
  • Inspect and verify the quality of SMP works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility of construction methods.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and tests on workmanship to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Document and report on quality issues, including any non-compliance, defects, or deviations from standards, and work with the project team to resolve them.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Quality Control Inspector in SMP.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and relevant software.
