SMP Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SMP Quality Control Specialist to undertake inspections and verify the quality of SMP works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

About the Role
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and tests on workmanship to ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and feasibility of construction methods.
  • Document and report on quality issues, including any non-compliance, defects, or deviations from standards, and collaborate with the project team to resolve them.
  • Work closely with contractors, project managers, and engineers to implement corrective actions and address issues promptly.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Quality Control Specialist in SM.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and relevant software.
