Job Description:

As a seasoned Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of high-value industrial projects in Melbourne's western corridor. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on-site operations, ensuring seamless project execution, and meeting client expectations.
  • Coordinate and manage diverse teams of subcontractors, tradespeople, and site staff.
  • Oversee project planning, implementation, and sequencing, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and control schedule, budget, site logistics, and documentation, reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, QA/QC checks, and safety assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior site staff, fostering a collaborative team culture, and promoting knowledge sharing.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Applicants should possess extensive experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, preferably on industrial or large-scale commercial construction projects. A proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timeframe is essential.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective on-site decisions.
  • Sound understanding of Victorian building regulations, OH&S practices, and industrial construction protocols.
  • Formal qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are highly desirable.
