The Family Engagement Director oversees the recruitment and supervision of Family Engagement Specialists, ensuring effective residential screening and parent education for youth and families. This role requires strong communication skills, group facilitation expertise, and a deep understanding of proper initial assessment and casework techniques.
- Responsible for the recruitment, orientation, supervision, in-service training, and evaluations of Family Engagement Specialists.
- Supervises the Request for Service process and development of family education throughout the state.
- Cultivates relationships with community partners to share the mission and seek out disadvantaged students.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC licensure in good standing within the state of Florida.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and group facilitation abilities.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and meet service objectives and deadlines.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary $62,000 annually.
Working Conditions
- This position requires work in an office environment as well as extensive driving.
- May include overnight travel and variable work schedules.
