The Executive Director of Safety and Security will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our surveillance function at The Star Sydney.

This position oversees the strategic management and direction of the Surveillance division, ensuring the long-term safety and security of our guests and team members.

You will lead the development of surveillance strategies and standards, providing technical advice and support while fostering a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surveillance and management within the casino industry, with a strong understanding of laws related to our organization.

A key aspect of this role is workforce planning, coaching, management, and engagement, as well as the ability to communicate and implement statutory processes.

As a seasoned leader, you will provide specialist expertise and insights to various stakeholders across game integrity, surveillance operations, and systems.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the management and daily operation of the Surveillance division, formulating measures to enhance asset protection, and preventing and detecting criminal activity.

You will also provide leadership to the Surveillance team, identifying opportunities for team member development and fostering future talent.

Liaising with the Investigations team will ensure that casino operations are conducted with the highest standards of integrity.
