About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Medical Officer to join our team, who will contribute to effective orientation and onboarding. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership, training, and education within their area of specialty, while supervising junior staff in line with relevant professional and regulatory bodies.

  • Participate in performance appraisal and staff development processes to drive service improvement.
  • Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to foster an environment of collaboration for service development.
  • Undertake clinical responsibilities including patient care, liaison with other units, referring hospitals, and maintaining records and confidentiality.
  • Provide ethical decision-making and issues management to achieve organisational goals.
  • Contribute actively to hospital, health service, and professional community engagement.
