Company Overview:

Role Summary:

This is a 6-month contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to work with our client Charterhouse in Sydney CBD with flexible work arrangements. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statutory statements, reports and accounting work papers, and implementing accounting functions and projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pre-payment and accrual journals and other end-of-month activities
  • Proactively identify and resolve financial risks including transactional, reporting and account reconciliation issues
  • Implement accounting functions and projects as required, including asset management, cash management, systems development and process improvement

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
  • Experience in accounting and related software systems (SAP, Calumo, My Outcome)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Permanent Residency
