Exercise Assistant Position

Are you enthusiastic about supporting individuals in their journey towards improved health and physical function?

  • This is a proactive role for a compassionate Exercise Assistant with experience in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology.

As an Exercise Assistant, you will support the work of Accredited Exercise Physiologists by assisting in program delivery, client engagement, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in implementing individualized exercise programs for clients with various health conditions.
  • Supporting clients in completing exercises safely and effectively.
  • Monitoring client progress during sessions and communicating feedback to supervising professionals.
  • Preparing equipment and ensuring a clean and safe environment for sessions.
  • Contributing to administrative tasks such as updating records and managing equipment.

You will be working closely with a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about promoting physical health and well-being. We offer flexible hours to suit your schedule and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

For this position, we require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with client exercise programs in clinical or community settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
  • High levels of organization, attention to detail, and initiative.
  • A passion for promoting physical health and well-being.
Additional Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must also meet the following criteria:

  • Currently completing a degree in Exercise Physiology.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check.
