">Job Overview

As a Health and Wellness Specialist, you will be part of a small but dedicated team responsible for promoting the wellbeing of our global community. Your primary focus will be on psychosocial health and mental health, with a strong emphasis on developing and implementing comprehensive health and wellness programs that support the holistic wellbeing of our employees.


This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with various teams to design, implement, and evaluate programs that promote employee wellbeing and safety.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive health and wellness programs that align with our organizational goals and values.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality services and effective program delivery.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of wellbeing by engaging with employees, promoting program participation, and providing regular updates on program progress.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, facilities, and external providers, to ensure seamless program delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:
  • Expertise: 5+ years' experience in workplace wellbeing, psychosocial safety, or WHS (with a focus on mental health).
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Clinical or technical background in mental health (e.g. psychology, organisational psychology, or equivalent).
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of WHS operations, risk assessments, and safety best practice. Experience managing EAP programs, audits, incident reporting, return-to-work, and injury management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, communicate complex information effectively, and build strong relationships.
