Role Overview

This strategic advisor role involves collaborating with senior leaders to identify opportunities, address challenges, and support initiatives that align with our long-term goals.


Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of a corporate strategy that aligns with long-term objectives and evolving market conditions.
  • Drive the annual strategic planning cycle, including preparation for key Executive and Board strategy sessions.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to uncover opportunities and inform strategic direction.
  • Build models and extract insights from complex data sets to support key strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, business teams, and external partners to align on strategy and drive outcomes.

Key Qualifications
  • A degree in business, commerce, or a related field; an MBA is beneficial.
  • 2-3 years' experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data and present clear insights.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel to turn data into meaningful actions.
  • Experience in life insurance, superannuation, or financial services is highly regarded.
