Career Opportunity: Catering Team Member

As a member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining services to residents.

About the Role:
  • Delivering resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience
  • SUPPORTING YOUR PEERS AND MAINTAINING A COOPERATIVE TEAM SPIRIT
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing meals that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and their families
Requirements:
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
