About the Department for Education SA:

The Student Pathways and Careers Division provides pathways to future training and employment for South Australian school students, leading reforms to existing Department programs and services.

The VET Quality and Capability team leads VET for school students, providing expert advice and guidance to support the delivery of high-quality VET. This role develops and implements strategies to continually improve the quality of VET delivered to school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting preferred provider RTOs working with government schools to meet policy and quality framework requirements
  • Providing robust information about the current VET environment

Qualifications:

Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Special Conditions:

The successful applicant must gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, which requires renewal every five years before expiry.

RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course will be required, to be updated every three years.
