About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Calvary Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Assist clients with mobility and prompting with medication
  • Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks
  • Promote customer choice, positive routines, and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the customer

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or Individual Support (desired but not essential)
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email, and internet
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
