Fantastic opportunity to join a global market leader in the timber industry. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to support our Business Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of our manufacturing and treatment plant facility.

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and customer service. Key responsibilities include managing daily plant operations, supporting implementation of the facility's Zero Harm Program, planning and scheduling production activities, and leading and training staff to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who works well with people and leads by example. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in timber manufacturing or a similar industry, as well as 1+ year of people management experience or studies. Understanding of budgeting, payroll, ordering, and accounting principles is also essential. Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance is required.
