Key Responsibilities
The Regional Project and Asset Management Leader is responsible for achieving strategic objectives in Project Management and Asset Maintenance, collaborating closely with the Operational Plant teams and Group functions across the region's facilities.
In this capacity, you will spearhead and execute action plans tailored to individual sites, ensuring that every initiative is delivered On Time, In Full, and On Budget, while also being recognized as exemplary in Safety, Health, and Environmental Performance. Furthermore, this role encompasses:
- Promoting the standardization and unification of our Project Management and Asset Maintenance culture, with a portion of your focus dedicated to:
- Collaborating with Plant and Engineering Managers to align all site projects and asset care programs with our strategic business objectives;
- Conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of the Asset full life cycle, establishing suitable plans;
- Supporting regional Sustainability initiatives by preparing business plans and overseeing project execution;
- Leading a regional Asset Care program, partnering with Maintenance Supervisors, Reliability Managers, and other Asset Care leaders to ensure cohesive implementation both internally and at the Group level;
- Ensuring compliance with all current legal and statutory obligations, including but not limited to, SHE, HACCP, Environmental, Food Safety, and employment legislation for all internal employees and external contractors;
- Engaging in Group improvement initiatives, ensuring that any modifications to working practices, policies, or procedures are effectively communicated and supported by the team, aligning with best practices where applicable.
Required Qualifications
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager APAC and maintaining a dotted line to Group Projects, this role encompasses portfolio management across the region, necessitating robust stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. As a change agent, you will exhibit a motivational leadership style, possess team-building capabilities, and demonstrate an ability to coach and mentor teams to enhance their competencies.
In addition to your emotional intelligence and developed interpersonal skills, you will also need:
- A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Automation) or a related field;
- Project Management Certification (PM or Prince 2);
- Proficiency in negotiation for both external and internal contexts;
- The ability to maintain a broad perspective of the region, considering engineering, production, and commercial priorities;
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively.
