Project Coordination Role About the Project

This is a high-profile project that involves the delivery of a major transport upgrade in Greater Sydney. The project will feature new road alignments, bridge construction and roundabouts, improving traffic flow, reducing congestion, enhancing safety for road users, and strengthening flood resilience for the local community.

The primary objective of this project is to deliver a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation system for the people of Sydney.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The project requires a collaborative approach from all stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with all parties will be essential in achieving the project's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a cross-functional team to deliver the project safely, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve project milestones.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress and performance.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with 15+ years' experience in civil construction, roads, and bridgeworks.
  • Proven track record of managing major infrastructure projects as a Project Manager or similar role.
  • Experience delivering Transport for NSW (TfNSW) projects, with a deep understanding of their standards and processes.
