Senior Clinical Practitioner

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Postgraduate Fellow to join our team in South Western Sydney Local Health District. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing clinical management and treatment of patients within the district.
The role requires working collaboratively with senior medical staff to provide high-quality care. This involves working closely with the Clinical Director, Director of Medical Services, and other medical staff to achieve service objectives.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical management and treatment of patients in a hospital facility under your care.
- Working collaboratively with senior medical staff to provide high-quality care.
- Participating in teaching and training, including supervision of junior medical staff.
- Contributing to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management initiatives.
- Maintaining current clinical practice and adapting to contemporary evidence-based best practice.
The ideal candidate will possess current medical practitioner registration with the Medical Board of Australia and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. They will also have demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
