Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that satisfy the criteria of safety, client satisfaction, quality, timeliness, and margins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily site records.
  • Work with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and create a safe working environment.
  • Reference tender package content to ensure the scope of work, product usage, and design logic are adhered to, where applicable.
  • Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief.
  • Manage, monitor, and control the flow of technical information between design disciplines and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in ensuring the design is completed to standard and on time to maintain the program.
  • Review the quality of subcontractor works on-site and communicate findings to the project team.
  • Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance.
  • Identify project issues and drive the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Complete Quality Assurance tasks such as ITPs, SWMS, etc., including revision and approval.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Building/Construction Management or Engineering
  • At least 3 years experience working within the building and construction industry in roles precedent to Site Engineer.
  • Be quality-focused and can assess risk.
  • Jobpac experience is required.
