Lead Settlements Team

The role of Lead Settlements Team member is a key position in our organization, where you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of settlements officers to ensure the best outcomes for clients at the final stage of their claim.

Job Description:

As a Lead Settlements Team member, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop your team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

You will also be responsible for using your communication skills to influence defendants, superannuation funds, and other stakeholders to ensure their compliance with terms of settlement. In addition, you will act as an escalation point for your team when facing roadblocks that may slow the settlement process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of settlements officers to achieve exceptional results
  • Using effective communication skills to negotiate with defendants, superannuation funds, and other stakeholders
  • Acting as an escalation point for your team to resolve complex issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience, with a focus on coaching and team development
  • Experience working in a legal or professional services industry (e.g., banking, insurance, superannuation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
