Are you a motivated professional seeking to take on a leadership role in maintenance operations? This position involves supervising works and teams to deliver high-quality maintenance of sewer, stormwater, and flood mitigation systems.

About the Position

This role is responsible for effectively managing personnel to deliver operational works and achieve organisational and community outcomes. The successful candidate will plan and coordinate work activities, including plant, materials, and contractors.

  • Supervise maintenance activities, including choke clearing; sewer main jetting and rodding; pipe laying and repair; stormwater pit and pipe cleaning; excavation and shoring; levee bank and flood gate maintenance; pump station maintenance; plant operation; soil and sediment control; fencing; lawn/garden maintenance; rehabilitation works; traffic management; and site safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in leading and working effectively in a team and independently.
  • Qualifications relevant to the role and/or relevant experience related to the role.
  • A Class C Driver's Licence.
  • A General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • SafeWork NSW Traffic Controller Training Card and SafeWork NSW Implement Traffic Control Plans Training Card.
