Site Maintenance Supervisor Role

We are seeking a seasoned Site Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance of our solar plant projects. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for delivering operational scope efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and timelines.

The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background and experience in utility scale Operations and Maintenance, with knowledge of Power Electronics, electrical engineering, HV/LV systems, and SCADA systems. They will lead a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring safe work practices and compliance with WHSEQ requirements.

This role requires effective communication and coordination with external stakeholders, including owners, clients, and regulatory bodies. The Site Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for planning and managing labour resources, tools, and equipment, as well as leading ongoing maintenance planning and execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and leading a strong WHSEQ culture on site
  • Ensuring full compliance with WHSEQ requirements
  • Supervising and monitoring WHSEQ performance of internal teams and subcontractors
  • Ensuring all plant, equipment, tools, and PPE are fit for purpose and used correctly

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in Operations and Maintenance experience of utility scale Solar or renewable projects. They will possess an Electrical Qualification (Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics preferred) or other technical training, as well as an Electrical Licence for the relevant state.
