Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Logistics Expert

At our organization, we seek an experienced Supply Chain Logistics Expert to ensure seamless operations and efficient inventory management. This role is responsible for coordinating depot operations, managing stock levels, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory parameters and levels for depots in your region.
  • Oversee stocktakes, cyclic counting, and inventory reviews with depot staff.
  • Conduct storeroom reviews and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Support quality alerts, breakpoints, obsolescence, and new product introduction.
  • Ensure 100% part availability for campaigns through advanced material planning.
  • Manage the rotatable returns process, including requisitions and failure tracking.
  • Resolve part availability issues to support tram availability and planned works.

This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in unionized environments, and expertise in end-to-end logistics, inventory management, and ERP systems. You will also be skilled in leading stock takes, cycle counting, and governance processes, as well as advanced data analysis using Excel, Business Objects, and Tableau.

Requirements:
  • Victorian Driver's Licence (mandatory)
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)
