About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Agribusiness and Advisory team. As Head of Agribusiness, you will be responsible for promoting a strong internal service culture, ensuring a responsive and timely approach to meeting the operational and strategic needs of the organization. You will leverage our existing reputation, geographic coverage, and exceptional team of experienced valuers to continuously improve and innovate our Specialist Real Estate service.

The initial focus of the role will be the management and implementation of an Operating Rhythm within the team. Your secondary focus will be the growth and evolution of the Agribusiness and Advisory Department through innovation, integration of technology, and emphasis on improving operating practices and products. Successful execution of these focus areas will ensure Opteon attracts new business and is considered an employer of choice for SRE operators.

About You

We are looking for a driven professional with highly developed specialist valuation skills, exceptional communication, business development, and leadership skills. You will have a strong existing client network and commitment to professional development, together with:

  • A degree in Business/Commerce (Property) or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a qualified valuer
  • CPV status combined with significant experience in the Specialist Agriculture Real Estate valuation sector
  • Strong attention to detail, report writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication
  • Leadership skills, an ability to mentor and support team members, provide feedback, and share knowledge and experience with colleagues
