About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Operations Group. As a key member of our Digital team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering communications that drive adoption of AI tools across Macquarie.

This exciting 6-month contract opportunity offers the chance to experiment with innovative methods of engagement and be at the forefront of driving transformative change across the organisation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Leadership and business stakeholders to develop and execute internal communications strategies for a portfolio of internally facing Generative AI products.
  • Communicate digital strategy and new ways of working across Macquarie Group.
  • Organise and host AI and Digital events, lining up and preparing speakers and developing event content in collaboration with SMEs.
  • Explore communication channels, communities and programs available across Macquarie that can be leveraged to promote AI opportunities.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content, including case studies, internal social content, SharePoint pages, presentations and videos – ensuring there are strong feedback mechanisms in place so communications can be measured to demonstrate impact.

Your Ideal Background:

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Project/Change Management, or business-related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years' experience developing and delivering communication plans in fast moving agile environments with a proven track record of delivery.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to proactively understand the needs of diverse stakeholder groups to inform measurable communication approaches.
  • Adept at creating engaging communications materials and resources at pace across multiple formats and channels.
