Role Overview

Wholesome Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and compassionate support worker to join their team in a Casual Role. We are a fast-growing organization with services offered throughout various regions, including the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, and Greater Brisbane Regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Facilitate and participate in recreational, social, and educational activities to promote client wellbeing.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they receive the support and services they need.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with family members, healthcare professionals, and other support services to deliver coordinated care.
  • Provide overnight/sleepover support on a weekly basis, as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Capacity for overnight/sleepover and weekend shifts on a weekly basis (required).
  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field (highly desirable).
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability on a recurring basis to take on set shifts each week, with flexible hours to suit each support worker's capacity and the participants' needs.
  • A current Drivers Licence, own reliable vehicle and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid & CPR.
