About the Opportunity

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Growth Strategist to join our successful team in our Richlands Branch.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients.

You will be joining a successful, supportive and experienced team, that provides a conducive environment for professional growth, collaboration and success.

Your tasks will include:

  • Servicing customers to both meet current requirements and develop further opportunities.
  • Achieving sales and gross profit growth through the generation of leads and new business development.
  • Promoting long-term business partnerships with key customers by understanding their objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes.
  • Recommending technically competent solutions to customers.
  • Preparing and submitting quotes to customers.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on experience.

Berendsen Fluid Power Pty Ltd is Australia's largest provider of hydraulic solutions and services, with an in-house engineering and design division, an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing facility, and a nationwide network of world-class repair and service centres capable of providing an integrated service for the full lifecycle of hydraulic systems.

We operate ten fully equipped repair centres across five states, with a combined workshop floor area over 20,000 m2, supporting Australian industry for over 30 years in the form of design, supply and installation of turnkey hydraulic systems, manufacture of special purpose hydraulic cylinders and HIC manifolds, importation and distribution of replacement parts, and a key focus on critical maintenance services for a broad range of hydraulic applications, including hydraulic cylinder overhaul and service exchange.

About You

We are looking for someone with Mining or Heavy Engineering Industry experience and proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve targets.
