
Culinary Expert Wanted

As a reliable and skilled Casual Cook, you will be responsible for providing exceptional meal services to residents across various communities in Victoria. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and serving nutritious meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring residents enjoy a positive dining experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals in line with community menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure all meals are well-presented, nutritious, and delivered on time
- Reduce waste and manage stock efficiently
- Monitor and record food temperatures and follow food safety procedures
Maintenance of Kitchen Environment: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, sanitise all kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils, and safely handle and store cleaning products using correct PPE.
- Safety Protocols:
- Follow HACCP guidelines and comply with food safety legislation
- Wear PPE and follow WHS procedures at all times
- Report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly
Interaction with Residents: Interact respectfully and empathetically with residents, collaborate with community staff to ensure smooth meal service, and maintain professional boundaries and protect resident confidentiality.
- Required Qualities:

- Friendly, caring, and professional attitude
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different community settings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
Qualifications and Certifications: Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation (or willingness to obtain), National Police Check (current and valid), C-Class Driver's Licence and own vehicle, First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain), Knowledge of HACCP and safe food handling practices.
