The Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Remanufacturing division as a Workshop Fitter. This role involves assembling, maintaining, and repairing components to customer specifications, as well as providing quality diagnostic and general maintenance services in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform major component overhauls on a wide range of components
  • Ensure all work carried out is performed in a safe manner
  • Complete and submit all relevant paperwork and reports
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment in line with the company's 5S standards
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Heavy Rigid drivers license and High Risk Work licenses (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) highly regarded
  • Safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
