About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Open Minds Integrated Mental Health Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals with severe mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to support individuals in their recovery journey.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions and manage a clinical caseload, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery.
  • Engage in data collection and contribute to monitoring and evaluation to inform service improvement.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, ethics, and continuous quality improvement standards, upholding the highest standards of professional practice.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current annual practicing certificate from AHPRA.
  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, mental health nursing, or a relevant discipline.
  • Open driver licence.
  • Undergo a current or satisfactory Police Check.
  • Working with children check (Blue card) or ability to obtain.
  • Flexibility to travel and work after hours.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the mental health sector.
  • Experience with complex mental health presentations.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural settings, particularly with First Nations people.
  • Experience in trauma-informed and recovery-oriented services.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, navigate challenging situations, and work within a team.
