Equity Projects Coordinator Job

The position of Senior Coordinator, Equity Projects is a challenging and rewarding role that will support the delivery of equity, prevention, and inclusion projects and programs.

This role involves working through the project cycle, supporting the design and delivery of social change programs, program evaluation, and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and delivery of social change programs, program evaluation, gender-based violence prevention with workplaces and young people.

We are seeking an experienced professional who has a strong understanding of equity and intersectional practice, including up-to-date knowledge of the growing evidence base supporting prevention of sexual harm, gender-based violence, mental health wellbeing, anti-racism, disability inclusion, and cis/heterosexism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of equity, prevention, and inclusion projects and programs.
  • Work through the project cycle, from design to evaluation.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on equity and intersectional practice.
  • Provide secretariat support to meetings and committees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in social change program delivery and evaluation.
  • Experience in gender-based violence prevention with workplaces and young people.
