Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage safety assurance on Sydney Metro, delivering safe solutions and managing assurance across the project. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating all Safety Assurance activities on the Sydney project as per defined safety process
- Performing safety analysis, managing hazard logs, reviewing RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a safety perspective
- Defining safety plans and managing associated workloads and planning
- Organizing and attending periodic safety reviews
- Defending safety case arguments in front of internal and external stakeholders such as assessors and operators.
- Willingness to deliver from a hands-on perspective to ensure full delivery of the project.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering - Electrical / Mechanical:
- English operational for reading and writing technical documentation
- Mastery of CENELEC standards for safety methodology and concepts/principles
- Previous rail experience delivering safety assurance from a supplier perspective both internationally and locally.
