Job Description:

Rail operations are the backbone of any transportation system. As a Senior Rail Operations Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rail network. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement operational plans that meet the needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rail operations and planning, with experience in managing and conducting the preparation of rail operational planning documents. You should also have a thorough understanding of rail operations, including system interfaces and risks.

You will work closely with our project teams to provide strategic advice and input on rail operations. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and mitigating operational risks, ensuring that our rail network runs efficiently and safely.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, rail operations, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years' experience in the rail industry, preferably including operations management and planning
  • Past exposure to driver-less networks
  • Previous experience in senior management within the rail industry
