Job Title:

Lead Imaging Specialist

Job Description:
  • The Lead Imaging Specialist will oversee the delivery of imaging services, including General X-ray, Mobiles and Fluoroscopy examinations.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality assurance procedures and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide high-level Radiography services to patients and clients, with a focus on professional development and mentoring within the specialist modality.

Candidates will require:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Radiographer with the MRPB of Australia and a valid EPA Radiation Licence.
  • Ability to perform complex clinical procedures with high competency, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Act as an appropriate role model and promote a culture that reflects organisational values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage imaging services for General X-ray, Mobiles and Fluoroscopy examinations.
  • Develop and maintain clinical protocols and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide high-level Radiography services to patients and clients.
