Job Title: Lead Administrator - Architecture Planning and Design
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Administrator to join our team at Wipro Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in architecture planning and design, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in architecture planning and design to ensure the scalability and extensibility of our IT infrastructure.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and developing fixes to avoid similar issues.
- Plan and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation, and configuration functions for our IT infrastructure.
- Review the technical performance of our IT infrastructure and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine-tune performance, and reduce performance challenges.
- Develop shift rosters for the team to ensure no disruption in IT services.
- Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance, and other relevant documents.
- Provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team and internal stakeholders on database activities, progress, updates, status, and next steps.
- Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plans (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and lead a team of administrators to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
- Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro's standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability and effectiveness.
- Build an internal talent pool of Hi-Po's and ensure their career progression within the organization.
- Promote diversity in leadership positions.
- Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports.
- Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below.
- Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team.
- Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team.
- Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/initiatives for the organization or team.
- Exercise employee recognition and appreciation.
- Interact with stakeholders, including internal technology solutions groups, BU teams, different infrastructure teams, IRMC, QA, clients, vendors/manufacturers, and display lists of competencies required to perform this role effectively.
Requirements:
