Extension Officer - Project Support

This role is an exciting opportunity to provide project support to the Extension team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics and Administration: Plan and organize logistics for workshops, field days, extension activities, and demonstration sites.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Schedule meetings and facilitate communication between stakeholders, including growers and other relevant parties.
  • Reporting and Research: Complete reporting requirements, conduct research on various topics, and collate data for analysis.
  • Material Design and Printing: Design and print relevant extension materials, including creative and informative resources.
  • Library Management: Organize and manage the library of extension materials.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as commerce, project management, or agriculture, or recent graduation in agriculture with 1-2 years' experience in a support role.
  • Skills: Well-developed writing and basic design skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a base level knowledge of agriculture (not mandatory).
