Territory Generation is the largest electricity producer in the Northern Territory, using gas, diesel and solar technologies to provide power across the region.

Your New Role:

">
  • Work flexible shifts as required to achieve effective monitoring of generating plant and associated equipment across differing technologies.
  • Perform duties in accordance with our safety, environmental and quality policies, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
  • Mirror our company's values in order to drive a constructive work culture.
  • Collaborate with the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) to achieve safe & efficient operations of the power station.
  • Operate part or all of the power station in local mode when directed by the ROC.
  • Coordinate Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) systems and processes to deliver safe access to plant for planned and unplanned maintenance.
  • Conduct operations routines & work on the power station, including routine plant inspections, equipment lubrication, routine tests, identification of plant defects through the business ERP.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated competence in workplace safety and commitment to safe work practices.
  • AQF Level III Certificate or relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding and proven experience in contributing to the achievement of a constructive culture.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that have resulted in effective team membership and contribution to work place objectives.
  • Ability to analyse technical systems and assess/report anomalies.
  • Well-developed computer literacy.

This is a residential role based in Alice Springs. Australian Citizenship or other eligible visa type is required. Relocation allowance may be available for the right candidate.
