Job Description

The role of Power Developer involves supporting Development Project Managers in taking the pipeline of projects in AGL's greenfield project portfolio through to the start of construction. Key responsibilities include developing AGL's portfolio of wind, battery, and pumped hydro projects in the National Electricity Market (NEM), assisting with contract negotiations, identifying and managing key risks associated with projects, and co-ordinating internal and external resources to obtain permits and licences needed for the construction and operation of power projects.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in business or technical fields such as finance, commerce, or engineering
  • Strong technical and commercial skills
  • Experience in the energy industry, particularly in renewable energy and/or project development
  • Project, regulatory, and risk management skills
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
