About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Group Travel Manager to lead the booking and management of group or fully independent travel requirements for corporate, university, and special interest groups.

This role requires a customer-centric mindset, effective communication, and relationship building skills to ensure corporate customers receive an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert corporate travel product knowledge to drive the best outcome for customers and FCM Meetings & Events
  • Assist in budgeting and executing professional and accurate business travel arrangements for corporate accounts
  • Follow company procedures, account guidelines, and customer service standards in sourcing products, quoting, making travel arrangements, and record keeping
  • Communicate effectively and maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Manage time efficiently and multitask to meet deadlines
  • Apply project management skills to complete all related project functions related to servicing the client
  • Be adaptable to changing work environments and stakeholder requirements
  • Work collaboratively as a team member or individual to complete project functions
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively provide solutions to complex logistical challenges
  • Expertise in fares and complex itineraries, with attention to detail and a passion for customer service
Requirements
  • GDS: SABRE - essential
  • Microsoft Office skills - specifically excel - essential
  • Major airline group booking platforms - experience preferred
  • Event Management Technology - Events Air/Cvent experience preferred
  • Previous Group Travel /MICE experience (3 Years) preferable
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles
