We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team at Churches of Christ, Little Mountain Residential Aged Care. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of our grounds and outdoor facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas, including mowing, pruning, watering, and planting.
- Maintain pathways, driveways, and other hard surfaces, ensuring they are free from debris and hazards.
- Monitor and manage waste disposal and recycling around the grounds.
- Inspect and maintain outdoor facilities and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist with landscaping projects and seasonal tasks such as leaf clearing.
- Identify and report any issues or potential hazards on the grounds that require attention.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Officer who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong knowledge of plant care, landscaping, and basic horticultural practices, as well as the ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and machinery.
You will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and time management skills. A compassionate nature and ability to build rapport with others are essential for this role.
