About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of our medium-sized residential aged care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and direction to our care staff, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
  • Clinical Operations: Oversee the daily clinical management of the facility, ensuring that all care needs are met and that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Education and Mentorship: Provide education and mentorship to our care staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Quality and Accreditation: Ensure that our facility meets all relevant quality and accreditation standards, and that our residents receive care that is safe, effective, and person-centered.
  • Culture of Excellence: Promote a culture of excellence within our facility, ensuring that all staff are committed to delivering high-quality care and that our residents receive the best possible experience.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA Registration: You must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in Residential Aged Care: You must have recent experience working in residential aged care, with a strong understanding of the sector and its challenges.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: You must have experience in leadership and management roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and managing staff.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards: You must have a strong understanding of aged care accreditation standards and be able to ensure that our facility meets all relevant requirements.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and other stakeholders.
