About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support with serving meals, general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Contribute to kitchen duties such as cleaning and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory

Requirements

  • A current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of good hygiene practices
  • Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable but not essential
