Occupational Rehabilitation Role

At Work Focus Australia, we're dedicated to supporting our clients and employees in their journey to recovery. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping your clients achieve their goals and regain their independence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with various insurance schemes, including Motor Accident Schemes, Worker's Compensation, and DVA
  • Assist and shadow the rehab consulting team in conducting assessments and designing programs
  • Report writing and administrative tasks
  • Liaise with clients, medical practitioners, insurers, and employers to achieve outcomes
  • Provide ad-hoc support to rehabilitation consultants

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Chiropractic, or Rehab Counselling program
  • Ability to obtain registration upon graduation (final year applicants preferred)
  • Willingness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license essential)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to provide high-quality customer service
