We are seeking an exceptional Senior Accountant to join our team at PSC Biotech. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounting functions and driving business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our accounts payable and receivable processes, including collections calls and daily/monthly general ledger account reconciliations. You will also monitor project progress and financial performance, prepare monthly financial reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as PAYG, GST, and superannuation.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive business decisions, prepare various schedules and reports for internal users, and assist with ad-hoc reporting and tasks as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a senior accounting role
  • Expert knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP and journal entries
  • Experience with MS Office essential, XERO desired
