Your Role

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with activities of daily living and provide support services such as domestic assistance, social support, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Promote client choice and positive routines, ensuring they are meaningful to the client.">
  • Work shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering.">
  • Drive client/company vehicles.">
  • Support clients to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community.">
  • Report changes in client's health, care plans, or if additional services are needed.">
  • Review communications received via email, support worker connect, and other methods to ensure current knowledge of policies and procedures.">
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others within the workplace.">

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you will have:

">
  • ">
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or Individual Support (desirable).">
  • A current and valid full Driver's Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle, and smart mobile phone.">
  • A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.">
  • NDIS Clearance (or willing to obtain one).">
  • Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain one).">
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.">
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.">
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.">
  • Proficiency in the use of technology such as smart phones, email, and internet.">
  • A desire to join a mission-based organisation.">
  • Working with Children's check.">

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
