Heavy Diesel Technician Lead Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing maintenance team on a site that's rapidly expanding, with a diverse fleet that will continue to grow.

We are seeking a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter (Australian recognised) to lead day-to-day maintenance operations on our large-scale mining equipment fleet.

The successful candidate will have proven post-trade experience in heavy machinery and leadership or supervisory experience on open-cut mine sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily maintenance activities on Emeco’s fleet of Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu machines
  • Providing support for rental fleet servicing and breakdowns as needed
  • Maintaining safety and compliance with all HSE policies and site procedures
  • Collaborating closely with site teams and stakeholders to achieve uptime targets and operational goals
