Job Description:

We are seeking experienced heavy diesel technicians with at least 2 years' experience in open cut mining working on various mobile plant equipment. This is an opportunity to join our friendly crew in the Goldfields and take on a challenging role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining and optimising heavy earthmoving fleets, providing support to rental fleets, and working safely to minimise risk. They will also have a high level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of heavy earthmoving fleets
  • Providing support to rental fleets as required
  • Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
  • Recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter Trade Qualification
  • High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
  • Current Australian Driver's License (HR preferable)
  • High risk license (preferable) but we also offer in-house training
