Mathematics Teacher - Years 7-12

Job Description:

The Mathematics teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Years 7-12, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to teach Mathematics to students in this age group, with a focus on developing problem-solving, logical reasoning, and quantitative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structured concept-driven instruction that develops problem-solving, logical reasoning, and quantitative skills in students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet their academic goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A qualified teacher with the capacity to teach Year 7-12 Mathematics
  • Experience: Teaching experience in Mathematics, preferably in a secondary school setting
